Full Moon – Dream It – Create It

Today, March 16, 2014 the Full Moon culminates at 1:08 PM EDT.  With the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo this Full Moon is about imagination, dreaming and visualizing and facing the reality of what is.  Pisces Sun says dream it big while Virgo Moon helps to bring that dream to fruition. This Full Moon promotes flexibility and gives the mutable signs, Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius a get a move on nudge.  With the dynamic T-Square between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto still in play no one escapes the push and shove of world events and inner promptings that call for repositioning and prompt us to take steps to break the rigid and crystallized in our lives.  When routine becomes rut, it’s time to rethink that routine.

Moon enters Libra on Sunday night and while Moon travels through this sociable, balance seeking sign it is a good time to talk, to work on relationships and to connect with people in your life.  We’re looking for beauty and harmony under this Moon.  It’s Venus ruled so art, beauty and forming partnerships are favored. 

On Monday, Mercury enters Pisces leaving the intellectual sign of Aquarius.  Mercury in Pisces heightens our telepathic and intuitive senses.  We sense things.  This is great for artists but for all it is best not to let the imagination and fantasies run wild.

On Tuesday, Venus in Aquarius connects with Uranus in Aries testing that Libra Moon’s love for harmony.  Venus ruler of love and money joining forces with Mr. Surprise, Uranus calls for fireworks.  Unusual, original and unexpected words, actions and events occur around this aspect. Aquarians and Aries feel the jolt along with the Leos and Libras. 

On Wednesday morning Moon leaves congenial Libra and enters suspicious Scorpio. Strong passions are aroused under this Moon sign.   Folks get a bit moody and sensitive under this Moon.  Don’t let secrets, jealously and suspicion rule you during these few days.  Step away from the emotional and look at things objectively.

On Thursday, the Vernal Equinox, Spring begins.  The day and the night are equal in length.  The energy changes and although it may not feel like spring, change is in the air.  This season will be a season of volatility on all fronts.  Wet and windy with some record breaking days, the Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto configuration speaks of unpredictability on all fronts.  Be prepared to roll with the punches.

On Friday Moon enters Sagittarius and suspicions fall by the wayside as people become warm and friendly.  Sagittarius Moon loves change and motion.  Folks want to get out to a sporting event, a hike in the woods or a flex of the independent muscle.  Keep moving is the motto of this Moon.

On Saturday when Mercury in Pisces joins forces with Neptune in Pisces intuition takes the main stage.  It is important to remain positive and be around positive people and influences now as this combination is like a sponge and we absorb what is around us.  There is a strong possibility of deception, confusion and misrepresentation of the facts. Take the high road boys and girls you don’t want to get stuck in the mire.

Last Quarter Moon – A Juicy Week Ahead

The week opens with the Last Quarter Moon on Monday the 25^th at 2:28 PM EST. The Moon is at the half and half stage, half light, half dark.  This is a time of reflection.  Quarter Moons bring crisis and with the waning quarter that crisis is usually internal.  Contemplation and meditation do well during this period.  This time in the lunation cycle is the time to prepare the ground for the seeds to be planted at the next New Moon.  This phase has the Sun in Sagittarius with the Moon in Virgo.  These signs as well as the other mutable signs, Pisces and Gemini may have a deeper connection to the energies of this quarter moon.

Monday evening Mercury and Saturn, in Scorpio, make a powerful connection.  This is not the time for casual conversation.  Topics are deep and complex.  Scorpions feel the energy most acutely while the other fixed signs, Taurus, Leo and Aquarius catch a lot of the fall out.  Especially the Aquarians, their ruler, Saturn, is heavily involved in the discussion.  Moon in Virgo lends a hand to Mercury.  Mercury rules Virgo as well as Gemini so these signs are pulled into the discussion whether they like it or not. The other mutable signs, Pisces and Sagittarius will need to roll with the punches as well.

Moon shifts into congenial Libra at 5PM EST on Wednesday. Libra Moon lightens the mood as folks want to connect in a more convivial manner.  This Moon reminds us that we are social beings and need and want the company of our fellow human beings. It’s a good time to throw a party as everyone wants to get along and have fun. Later in the evening Mercury once again makes a connection, this time with Venus in Capricorn. Once again the Mercury ruled signs are involved as well as the Venus ruled Taurus and Libra.  Libra gets an assist from the Libra Moon.   The conversation is likely to be practical as Venus in Capricorn is all business. Mercury in Scorpio wants to get to the bottom line. So things should work out well as long as everyone is dealing from the top of the deck.

Libra Moon provides some pleasant energy for the Thanksgiving Holiday festivities.  We are more tolerant of that pesky relative that creates discord at family functions. Indeed the pesky relative is not so pesky under this Moon.  Venus in Capricorn opposes Jupiter in Cancer.  Capricorn the conservative tries to put a lid on the excessive tendencies of Jupiter.  Jupiter in Cancer is right in tune with the huge Thanksgiving meal.  Overeating is the norm on this day the energy of Jupiter in Cancer says food is love and we all indulge freely.  

Moon goes Void of Course on Friday morning and remains so all day entering Scorpio at 11:03 PM.  Scorpio Moon brings intense passion and desires to the forefront.  Sensitivity increases and people feel insulted when no insult was meant.  So be careful what you say and how you say it.  Saturday, the Sun in exuberant Sagittarius makes a harmonious connection to volatile Uranus in Aries.  This is a fiery and exciting combination.  Be prepared for disruption in plans, surprising events and a bit of shock on some level.  The fire burns hot and fast with this combination.

Moon in Scorpio, Monday, September 21st

At 12:52 AM on Monday, September 21, 2009 until Wednesday morning, September 23rd, the congenial energy of Libra Moon gives way to the passionate, intense, oft times jealous energies of a Scorpio Moon. The idle chit chat of the cocktail party is not for this Moon. Scorpio Moon likes conversations with meat on the bones. Deep emotional needs and issues surface. If you believe passionately in something, this is the time to stand up and defend it. If you end something under this Moon, it is done. Strong desires emerge and people will stoop to manipulation to get what they want. Scorpio Moon encourages the secret and the hidden. In the wee hours of Monday morning, Moon connects with Pluto, Scorpio’s ruler and Venus. Venus has just transitioned from show girl Leo into prim and proper Virgo. Here the power brokers (Pluto) negotiate (Venus) about public health and the armed forces (Virgo). When retrograde Mercury in Virgo, joins Saturn early Tuesday morning it’s get down to business time. Venus’ move from Leo to Virgo signifies that the show is over placing further emphasis on getting down to business. Mercury is still retrograde and will not go direct until Tuesday, September 29th. This indicates there is still time to revise and review but be aware that you may not have all the information. And when Mercury the Trickster aligns with Saturn, as on Tuesday morning, be sure to speak true. Saturn demands the truth and will come back and bite you if you don’t have the facts to back you up. In the public arena, Congress will be debating the big issue of Health Care Reform and there is a lot of covert action going on behind closed doors. Despite all the hoopla around this issue, and despite where any particular politician may stand, only they know what they are hearing from their constituents. When planets and the “lights”, the Sun and Moon, change signs the energy shifts. Autumn officially begins at 5:19 PM on Tuesday, September 22nd. As the season changes so does the psychology of the masses and the markets change. Venus rules love, diplomacy, currency and finance. Her move into Virgo indicates further change.
