Moon in Sagittarius and the United Nations

Moon moves into exuberant Sagittarius before 8AM on Wednesday morning September 23rd. Unlike the secrecy of Scorpio, Sagittarius Moon fosters openness and candor. Sagittarius Moon gives you the confidence to step beyond your usual limits and explore new ground. Under this Moon the flavor is international, sparking an interest in travel and adventure. The energy is great for the UN meetings going on this week. Wednesday morning along with the Moon’s shift into Sagittarius, Sun in Libra squares off with Pluto in Capricorn. The Sun represents the head of state, the leader, Kings, Presidents and the like. Pluto symbolizes power, overt and covert. These two at a 90 degree angle indicates tension and with Moon in Sagittarius opinions will be expressed with vigor. Before noon, that Trickster, Mercury, in retrograde motion, faces off with unpredictable Uranus. This increases the possibility of a verbal faux pas. A Sagittarius Moon, retro Mercury and Uranus combination virtually guarantees a foot in mouth situation. At any rate, all of these heads of state and UN delegates will be talking out both sides of their mouth (retro Mercury) and peddling propaganda (Pluto). And let’s not forget that along with communication snafus, Mercury/Uranus can trigger commuter and computer glitches and sudden, unexpected surprises of all sorts. With Uranus the deal is, if you can think of it, that ain’t it. Whatever mishaps or missteps occur; the dust will not settle until Thursday around 6PM when Sagittarius Moon snuggles up to Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius. Some of Jupiter’s concerns are treaties, borders, finance, religion and the law. On a personal level, under Sagittarius Moon, you may not be able to get a word in edgewise while those around you passionately express their opinions. Try to avoid those who foam at the mouth when espousing their favorite belief or cause. This is a good time to look at those travel brochures and plan your next trip. Sagittarius loves to travel.
